Welcome to my first subscription club/website - where you help me send photo zines and books to libraries documentig South Carolina and the Southeast.
By joining this member site you’ll be supporting my personal and independent photo projects along with my general efforts as a freelance photojournalist working with folks like Getty Images, NYT, WaPo, AP and others. You’ll be funding the non-paywalled content that I produce at Sodacitizen.com.
As I finish my artist in residency at Richland Library in December, I’ll be launching this member site entering 2025. Zines will be published in March, June, September, and January. Copies of these zines will be mailed to the National Gallery of Art Library, which started acquiring my zines in the fall of this year.
The quarterly zine memberships are available until Dec 31, 2024.
As a photojournalist without local newspapers to work with, I hope this helps reconnect my efforts in my home city of more than 25 years.
I look forward to working on these projects and your support will help me documenting the Midlands and the Southeast.
These projects will culminate in a photo book available in 2026, with copies going to the local collection at Richland Library and one to the National Gallery. The goal, to put a photo book and four photo zines in these libraries each year.
