Dobbs v. Jackson v. Roe v. Wade
Anti-abortion demonstrators gathered at the South Carolina State House and state Supreme Court on Saturday morning to celebrate the one year anniversary of the overturning of Roe Vs. Wade, and to pray for upcoming hearings on the latest six-week abortion ban. The Court previously struck down the Republicans’ previous legislation to ban abortion at six weeks. They will begin hearing arguments on Tuesday.
Organizers billed speakers from 40 Days to Life, A Moment of Hope, Abba’s House, Advocates for Life, Campaign on Abortion Free Greenville, Democrats for Life, Diocese of Charleston, First Choice Maternity Home, Life Choices Aiken, Lifeline Children’s Services, Nightlight Christian Adoptions, Pro-Life Greenville, St. Clare’s Home and state Rep. Ryan MCcabe (R-Lexington). U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) spoke at the event.
